Duty Free Allowances

Below are the duty-free allowances for different destinations worldwide. Although we endeavor to ensure that this information is kept up to date, the allowances could change without notice.

China residents: 200 cigarettes and 1 bottle of liquor.
Overseas Chinese & Taiwanese: 600 cigarettes and 2 bottles of liquor.
Foreigners: 400 cigarettes and 2 bottles of liquor.

Visitors: 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250g tobacco.
1 bottle of wine or spirits.
Residents: 100 cigarettes or 25 cigars or 125g tobacco.
1 liter of still wine.

Foreigners: 200 cigarettes and 1 bottle of liquor.
Residents: 100 cigarettes and no liquor.

400 cigarettes or 100 cigars or 500g tobacco for visitors. Half that for residents.
3 bottles of wine or spirits. 2ozs perfume. Goods up to the value of Jap. Yen 200,000

200 cigarettes or 50 cigars.
1 bottle (not exceeding 1 liter) of alcoholic beverages. 2ozs perfume.
Shopping allowance of US $ 2,200.

Wine, spirits and beer not exceeding 0.5 liter of each. No cigarettes allowed!!!

200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 500g tobacco. 1 liter of wine or spirits.
5 rolls of film.

200 cigarettes. 1 liter of wine or spirits. Goods up to the value of US $800*
for residents and US $100 for nonresidents.

 

*The Trade Act of 2002 that was signed into law on August 6, 2002 increased
the duty free allowance to $800 for the value of duty free merchandise that a
returning U.S. resident is entitled to bring back into the United States with them.
This increase does NOT affect the current allowance for tobacco and liquor.

or spirits of maximum 22% proof or 1 liter if more than 22% proof and 2 liters of wine.
50g perfume and 0.25 liter of toilet water. Goods up to the value of DM 115.
